Informal tradition

A place to have everyday lunch or dinner, to eat well without wasting time, to meet friends. You’ll find that and so much more at the Alameda bar.

Gran's Bidasoa cooking, updated

In its more than 75 years of history the bar has been known as meeting point in Hondarribia, an aspect it has recovered since its renovation. Traditional dishes and pintxos, but with the special Alameda touch: croquettes, squid, mussels, fried eggs and chistorra sausage, wines from different DO regions, craft beers... Plenty to enjoy every day.

A new look to nourish tradition

The decor has changed. The importance of the wood gives it a modern feel, but without losing the typical warmth and friendliness of a bar. And the same can be said of its cuisine: the warmth and friendliness draw on tradition, on the ingredients used, although some of the pintxos and plates served come with a modern touch.
